据美国“商业内幕”网站报道，特朗普15日发文称，FBI突查海湖庄园时，“偷走了他的三本护照（其中一本过期） ，还有其他所有东西。”
"In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three passports (one expired), along with everything else," Trump wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform.
特朗普还指责说， “这是一种在我们国家前所未见的、对政治对手的攻击。”
"This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country."
《纽约邮报》称，通常扣押某人护照表明当局认为他们存在“潜逃风险”，或可能面临刑事指控，需要阻止他们前往美国境外。
Typically, the seizure of a person’s passports indicates that authorities believe them to be a flight risk — or that they could face criminal charges preventing them from traveling outside the US.
据悉，美国总统和一些政府工作人员拥有不止一本护照的情况并不少见，可能包括旅游护照、外交护照，以及授予美国政府官员的“官方”护照等。目前，尚不清楚 特朗普是否还有其他护照。
