从出道以来就一直不顾一切拼命挑战自我的潘玮柏，常让大家都期盼拼命的他能暂时停下忙碌脚步，认真调养自己的身体。但每天连睡觉都嫌浪费时间的他，并没有因身体状况而怯弱，在今年年初一开工，便搏命带着氧气筒上台演出，带给大家全新的「Alpha创使者」巡回演唱会，更在与病魔搏斗的同时，创作了一首全新作品─ 《Moonlight》借此传递他的「创使者」精神。
「在美国录音的当时，都在免疫神经失调的身体状况下去录音室，血压忽高忽低，只要录一回Demo就可能无法站着，每天都感觉像是活不过那一晚…。」潘玮柏2018全新单曲《Moonlight》在创作之初，是玮柏于开车前往工作的路途中，恰好看见日暮时刻出现的月亮，有感自己的工作在此时才正要开始而得来的灵感。 「我自己创作的时候往往都是在半夜，在月光下开着车要去写歌的时候，忽然有感而发的觉得活着的每一天24个小时都不能浪费，随时都会有灵感创造新的作品，而创作音乐的我，其实是最快乐的，所以在录制《Moonlight》期间，每当身体快承受不住要倒下的时候，我都想说，如果这是我的最后一首歌，我一定要把它完成『do it one more time』!」
